The Fashion Trends of Spring 2019
Spring has arrived, so it is time to start packing away the coats and jumpers and embracing the warmer weather.
After the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia back in May, it became evident that many spring trends have been inspired by nature. Colour, whether it be monochrome, patterned or tie-dye, is going to feature heavily in spring wardrobes. The most popular patterns are animal prints, polka dots, shells and checks including the houndstooth. In terms of colour, neons are being used to complement patterned prints as well as alone for a bright monochromatic look. In contrast, earthy tones such as terracotta, rust and orange are growing in popularity.
Many brands are also throwing back to the 1970s with these colours and prints. Dresses are featuring both mid-length sleeves and hemlines.
When it comes to corporate fashion, one of the most popular materials is linen, given that it is highly breathable to keep you cool during the warmer months. On the catwalk, loose-fitting linen suits in neutral colours such as beige and terracotta were featured.
For evening wear, silky whites appear to be the colour of choice. In the more casual wardrobe, the little white dress featured heavily. Different materials were used to create different looks, such as textured lace and ruffles.
With beige being one of the in-colours for spring, it may be time to update your shoe collection. Louise M Shoes are the perfect addition to your wardrobe to complement the new season’s trends. However, their classic style also means they never go out of fashion, so they will also suit your corporate attire.
The beige block heels come in two heights and are handcrafted using Italian leather. They feature inner layers of cushioning for added comfort for days when you need to be on your feet for long periods of time.
